The projects in this book are painted with sponge brushes and other sponge painting tools such as Spouncers and Daubers, with definition and accent linework done with paint markers.  The book teaches a largely mechanical technique of putting simple shapes together to "draw" (with paint) the basic items within the design - this is the starting point of the technique featured.  Projects are painted with gloss acrylic paints and include a variety of painting surfaces - wood, glass, metal, even an old suitcase.
