Susan Scheewe keeps busy by doing television, by working with authors for publications, by writing books and articles, by doing team training, by doing trade shows along with her husband and best friend, Stan Brown of Stan Brown's Art's and Crafts, by working as a consultant and artist for Martin/F. Weber with the support and love of her family and extended family. Susan Scheewe's daughters, Camille and Kimberly, also keeps busy by helping to create as well with doing so much with the design, photos, layout and working with the many authors and like Susan Scheewe, Camille and Kimberly also attend trade shows and have a busy life style. The richness of Susan Scheewe's life has allowed her the peace of mind to be creative.
Susan Scheewe Brown has been teaching others to paint for the past 35 years and enjoying it very much. Susan Scheewe has shared her talents on the Public Broadcasting Television. Susan Scheewe also makes videos available for those wanting to learn to paint. Susan Scheewe has taught throughout the United States as well as teaching in other countries, such as, New Zealand, Germany, England and Canada. For many years Susan Scheewe taught with oils, however, always had the love from childhood of painting with watercolor along with acrylics. Susan Scheewe simply loves to paint, create and design. Starting Scheewe Publications in 1971 the business has grown with the continued support of her mother Birdie Camille, daughters Camille and Kimberly and husband Stan Brown. Louise Moeller and Arlie Tiller have been like part of the family and working along with the growth of the publications. Over 300 titles and wonderful authors using a variety of subjects, techniques and paints. The International Scheewe Teaching Staff have been together for better than 20 years and extend the teaching of Susan Scheewe's method in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, England, Canada and Puerto Rico. These teachers work as a team and are like an extended family.
There are those who have trained and become certified Scheewe Instructors around the world. This certification program invites both those who simply want to learn to paint or improve their skills with these easy to follow techniques along with those who want to become teachers.
