Fiddlin' Around by Lois Mueller, VGM is a beautiful book full of beautifully painted violins! Lois first rosemaled when she painted for the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2004. It was a prelude of things to come. In recent years, she has been commissioned to paint many violins in several different styles of rosemaling, some of which are shared in this book.
How do you find a violin to paint? Lois has found violins at flea markets, has had friends give them to her and has been asked to paint violins that have been passed down in families for generations.
