Standard Shipping Rates and Methods

All orders are shipped through the U.S. Post Office, UPS or FedEx. Complete orders usually ship within 24-48 hours. An e-mail notification with the tracking number of your order is sent to you at this time.
As a service to our customers we have not raised our minimum shipping charge for more than five years, despite the yearly increases in shipping rates by carriers. We make every attempt to provide our customers with low shipping costs, fast service and discount prices on supplies. Please note: In some cases we reserve the right to make adjustments to the shipping charge schedule below.
UPS or FedEx Next Day Air, Second Day Air and 3rd-Day Select are available for an additional

There will be a $5.00 service charge for all incorrect shipping addresses and for any packages forwarded to another

Merchandise orders totaling $200 or more ship for free using FedEx or US Postal Service whenever possible. This applies to ground shipping for the contiguous United States (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and international orders excluded).
Note: Orders over $200 that contain over-sized or heavy items (paper maché, large quantities of wood, ornaments, bowls, canvas, Ott-Lite lamps, large quantities of paint, etc.) may incur shipping charges. If this is the case we will contact you via e-mail for your approval. We must have your approval before we can ship your order. |

Shipping charges for heavy or over-sized orders over $200 are as follows:
$200 - $350: sewuber covers 12% of the order total.
$350 or more sewuber covers 10% of the order total.

FREE SHIPPING ITEMS |
Items that qualify for free shipping are shipped standard ground within the contiguous United States through UPS or USPS. Free shipping does not apply to orders shipped internationally or to Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico. Oversized items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges. Customers are contacted by e-mail if an additional shipping charge is required. |
EXCEPTIONS & RETURNS |
Additional shipping charges will be added for expedited shipping, shipments drop shipped from the factory, international and U.S. Territory orders, and shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico.
Return shipments due to an incorrect address will not be able to be re-shipped at free shipping. Customers must pay a shipping fee (total amount charged by USPS or UPS) for a reshipment. If you decline a reshipment, your order may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Buyer to pay freight on all items returned for causes other than damage or errors on our part. Any orders returned as unclaimed will be refunded the cost of the item(s). Shipping charges are non-refundable. This applies to domestic and international orders.

OVERSIZE/HEAVY ITEMS |

Oversized and/or heavy items are subject to additional shipping and handling charges.
The following are examples of oversized/heavy materials: Canvas, large quantities of papier-mache, bentwood boxes, Ott-Lite lamps, large quantities of wood, easels, large quantities of paint and/or spray cans and craft tables. |
Outside the 48 Contiguous States |
Shipments to customers in APO's, Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico do not qualify for standard shipping rates and will be contacted by phone or e-mail within 24-48 hours with their shipping rates. |
Hazardous Items |
Orders with hazardous or flammable items such as aerosol spray cans, flammable paint thinners or krylon leafing pens will only be shipped ground within the contiguous United States. |
